My one day En Plein Air Workshops focus on sketching
and painting from direct observation, studying perspective, observing light and
shadow shapes, subject simplification and quick sketching techniques, palette
selection, composition, values and more.
I will start the morning with a demonstration and then let you loose to create your
own work and then assist each of you in turn throughout the afternoon.
not suitable for absolute beginners,

What I offer:
A demonstration painting everyday, teaching on design, colour, tones, subject and palette selection, brushwork, etc, advice on equipment, the painting process - everything I know.
A critique of your work and good-natured fun alongside learning to paint.
Price: $700 per day (for up to 10 students) plus my travel and accommodation expenses

Enrollments are on a first-in, first-served basis and are taken upon payment of the full class fee. Deposits are not accepted.
No refund will be made if you withdraw from the class within ten working days of the starting date or at anytime during the course. In the case of withdrawal prior to this, refunds will be given less an admin fee of $50. A full refund will be made if a class is cancelled after enrollment. No refund will be made if you transfer to another workshop and you then withdraw.
